US Census Website Unavailable After Millions Search 1940 Records

The U.S. Census released detailed information from the 1940 census. This is the first time that such detailed information has been released to the public. The website has seen millions of visitors since the release of the data, and as of this evening, the website was unavailable to some people. The information is the largest collection of data that the National Archives has ever released, and people are eager to see what life was like in 1940 America. Many people who are interested in Ancestry and searching their family tree will be excited about the massive data available. The website was still unavailable to many on Monday evening, which may be due to the National News broadcasts from the major television networks. The website is expected to me available to everyone later tonight.
